Elizabeth began her lifelong love of dance at the young age of 5, when she started her ballet/tap combo class at Sarah Shaw Dance Studio in Pueblo, Colorado. Elizabeth studied tap, ballet, jazz, clog, Irish step, and hip hop, before graduating and moving to California to continue her dance education. While living in California, she obtained her Associates Degree in Dance while performing with contemporary company Motion/Tribe under the direction of Marie De La Palme. She studied with internationally known choreographers and performers such as Jenny Backhaus, Andre Tyson, and Sarah Swenson. She also choreographed for Concordia University’s Dance Ensemble while obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. She was an instructor for Orange County Dance Productions, a company that brought dance to community centers across Orange County. She offered fun and affordable classes that exposed children to many styles of dance.
Since returning home, Elizabeth has choreographed competitive pieces at multiple dance studios across Southern Colorado. She hopes to pass her passion and dedication to her students, so they continue to learn and grow in the art of dance throughout their entire life.

“There comes a moment in a young artist’s life when he knows he has to bring something to the stage from within himself. He has to put in something in order to be able to take something out.”
